April - 30 Days of Body Repair

In my initial post I discussed having a bad knee which sucks and has affected my results. I am noticeably uneven. My balance and strength is stronger on my left leg than my right. I have more movement and range of motion on my left. I love my body but I know I’m damaging myself by not being able to perform to my best ability on both sides & my left having to over compensate for the right. I believe this is how I sprained my ankle in my Beyond 500 running class by not being able to deliver equally on both sides, so I put more pressure on my right ankle. So because of my “broken body,“ I decided to take the month of April off from any intense workouts, and stretch almost every night. The stretches I’m doing focus on my hamstrings, opening up my hips, & strengthening my ankles. It’s super hard but feels 10 times better.
