Is it to late to discuss how we want to show up in this new decade
A lot of us have New Years Resolutions but for many, they only last a month. We never see them through and these resolutions become repetitive. Some examples of my repetitive resolutions are to lose 40lbs and save money, and I know I'm not alone in letting those fall to the wayside.
My new concept is “Showing up in my own life”. My mom always says we show up for things or people that are important to us. So who's more important to you than you? (I’ll wait) Okay cool.
Here’s how I plan to show up in my life this new decade.
I’m going to be PRODUCTIVE! My 9a-5p is more like a 1p-6p. I usually wake up late in the day and am not productive at all. My weeks just turn into work, eat, sleep, & repeat. In an effort to change this I have set up training sessions in the AM and I drink coffee now. #I’m changing!
I will finish the Bible this year. I am a very spiritual person. I love the Lord. He knows my name and I am constantly trying to become God’s best friend.
I am really on a journey of holistic wellness. In the concept of wellness it may force you to think of those toxic habits you carried year to year (Alexa, play "Bag Lady" by Erykah Badu) These habits have lead you to the 40 lbs you can’t lose & money you can’t save.
So in this new century what will you be losing & is it a loss?
Also, what have you chosen to add to better yourself?
